Arrest Records in White County
The White County Sheriff's Office makes arrests in the county and operates the jail at the Justice Center. Sparta Police creates its own incident and arrest reports within the city. Doyle has no independent police department; its ordinance enforcement routes through the Sheriff under a published interlocal agreement. State and federal officers may also create records within their own systems. The agency that made the arrest is the right place to seek its narrative, but a White County booking inquiry still runs through the Sheriff.
A White County arrest record documents an allegation and custody event. It is not a finding of guilt. Intake can create identity details, a photograph, physical descriptors, charges, bonds, detainers, and custody fields. Reportable misdemeanor and felony fingerprints can support a TBI arrest cycle. The court then creates a separate file if charges are filed. A later dismissal does not erase the historical fact that booking occurred unless legal relief and record updates apply.

The county-linked BluHorse portal is the direct public route for current White County custody. Its Current Inmate tab provides First Name and Last Name text boxes. Neither is marked required, and the visible list filters without a separate search button. This is a current roster, not a full arrest-history index. The screen is useful for present custody, but a missing current result does not prove that no arrest or older booking exists.
White County Arrest Lookups
Each White County record channel answers a different part of the arrest. Start with the tool that matches the date and record type, then use common identifiers to move from jail to court or state records. The Sheriff does not publish a separate records-unit name, email, counter hours, fee schedule, ID rule, or response estimate, so use the disclosed main contact and ask about current requirements.

The Sheriff links a LexisNexis/Coplogic Request a Report route for Tennessee Public Records Act, accident, and incident requests. The downstream form fields were dynamic and not exposed during research, so do not assume a standard set of required fields. Have the correct name spelling, approximate date, location, arresting agency, OTN, and case number ready. Ask for the booking sheet, intake record, releasable arrest report, charge list, bond sheet, release date, and public detainer details as distinct items.

The portal supplements the Sheriff phone, fax, and counter routes; it does not replace the clerk's court file.
What White County Arrest Records Contain
A White County booking profile can carry both public and secure fields. The visible Charges tab may help connect the jail event to court. Other custody and housing details are protected behind secure tabs. Preserve the label attached to each date and identifier because offense date, arrest date, booking date, and filing date can differ.
Two identifiers have special value in a White County search. The OTN, or offense tracking number, helps connect the arrest, charge, and disposition reports. The court case number leads to the clerk's docket. A detainer signals another agency's hold and does not state the White County case result. Release status also needs follow-up because it may reflect bond, transfer, or another custody change without explaining how the charge ended.

White County Booking Tab Limits
The White County Past Inmate tab includes First Name, Last Name, Perm Id, State Id, Start Date, and End Date fields. It also shows Clear, Search, and Books 24hr controls. Yet that tab is credential-gated through a username and password modal. The presence of a 24-hour control is not evidence that White County offers a public daily arrest blotter.
The public Charges tab and secure incarceration tabs serve different users. No official county daily arrest-photo gallery, free past-booking database, stated roster refresh cycle, or downloadable export was found. If a current result rolls off, seek the older booking from the Sheriff under the Tennessee Public Records Act and check the clerk's docket for the case outcome.
Recent White County Bookings
The BluHorse current list is the best documented online route for recent White County custody, but it is not a complete booking log over time. A person may disappear after release, bond, transfer, or another change in custody. That absence says only that the person is no longer displayed on the current list. It does not identify why custody ended or what happened to the charge.
White County's 2025 procurement described 166 jail beds across three units: two male units with 58 and 62 beds, and a female unit with 46. This is dated facility context, not a current population count. For state felony custody or supervision after transfer, use TDOC FOIL. For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. Neither replaces the county booking record.

White County Arrest Agency Routes
For a Sparta arrest, start the narrative request with Sparta Police at 323 East Bockman Way, 931-836-3734, and direct the booking inquiry to the Sheriff. Doyle has no separate police records channel. Its 1994 enforcement agreement assigns municipal ordinance enforcement to the White County Sheriff's Department with General Sessions Court. Outside the two municipalities, the Sheriff is the normal county route unless a state or federal agency made the arrest.
White County crash reports are a separate product. The Sheriff's CrashDocs link is preset to agency ORI TN0930000. It does not supply an ordinary incident or arrest narrative. The official crash-report search should be used only when the requested record concerns a crash.
Keeping the crash and incident routes separate prevents a request from reaching the wrong service.
White County Arrests and TBI
Reportable misdemeanor and felony arrest fingerprints can create a cycle in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's central repository. Courts and agencies later return dispositions, diversion, and expungement information for linkage. TBI notes that incomplete or unmatched dispositions may be rejected, so the repository may lag the courthouse or show an arrest without a connected outcome.
TORIS is the public Tennessee-only name check. It costs $29, is nonrefundable, and omits aliases. The product may report a possible fingerprint-supported history for the identity submitted. It is not a copy of every court document, an out-of-state search, or an FBI summary. Use it for the broader Tennessee question, then verify a White County charge with the clerk.

That distinction matters because TAPS fingerprint processing is limited to checks authorized by Tennessee law and is not a public search of anyone.
White County Arrests vs Convictions
Booking and conviction records come from different custodians. Compare them by identifiers, but do not let one stand in for the other. A bond amount is a release condition. A roster disposition field may be blank or operational. The certified clerk record is the stronger evidence of the result for each filed charge.

White County Arrest Data Context
TBI's 2023 agency table reports 196 arrests by the White County Sheriff, including 193 adults and three juveniles. It also lists 333 offenses and 138 cleared, a 41.44 percent clearance figure. These numbers describe that Sheriff's agency reporting for the year. They are not a Sparta-only rate, a Doyle police rate, a current jail count, or a name-level arrest index.
